Middle School Select Combine: Team LSU Evals

DJ Hamlett 5’11 2024 G ceiling is through the roof. He has all the tools along with the swagger. Hamlett has great size for his position with extremely long arms that can play the passing lanes well.

Jaquan Mcroy 6’7 2024 F Still in the early stages of his development but the big man competes at a high level and has potential to be really dominant in the coming years.

Jayden Scott 5’7 2024 G is a scrappy point guard that can control the pace of the game well. Scott also defended well during camp and took pride on defense. He is a nice 2-way guard.

Kegan Roney 5'5 2024 G has a solid fundamental skill set and gives 100% on every play. Roney was able to get his shot off with limited dribbles and able to guard 94 ft.

Jaron LeMelle 6' 2024 F is able to guard multiple positions defensively and offensively played well off the ball as he was able to catch and finish around the basket.

Cameron Belser 5' 2025 G a pass first guard that set his teammates up for easy baskets during 5 on 5 play. With his speed and hustle it allowed Belser to get in the gaps and find the open man.

Zhalyn Copes 5'2 2025 G relies on his speed to blow by would be defenders and plays 94 ft defensively. Copes has a huge motor!

Ryan Young 5'4 2024 G is able to get to the lane at will. He really excelled at slashing during camp and was able to finish with either hand.

Seneca Robinson had a great attitude for the entire camp. He went full speed in all drill stations and gradually improved. Kid took advantage of camp and got better.

Mason Cannon 5'1 2026 G is a sharp shooter from deep. Plays with an edge and finishes well through contact. One of the youngest at camp but plays beyond his age.
